Types of Tents
Tents are portable shelters made of fabric or other similar material draped on a rudimentary or even complex network of poles being erected on the ground with supporting ropes. Throughout history and even pre-history, mankind has lived in tents and even after the foundation of civilization and early permanent settlements, tents have never outlived their purpose. The purpose of tents is to provide shelter for people who needed rest in uninhabited or uncivilized territories. To ask why people would go to these remote places is as ludicrous as asking justification for why people travel for vacation. “You can take a man from his journey, but you can never take journeying from man” and so long as he gets far away outdoors, he would always need a shelter to rest. The whole time that tents are created and designed; they are eventually classified into four types of tents. These are the different types of tents:
Basic Types of Tents
